CST 311: Introduction to Computer Networking

CST 311 Introduction to Computer Networking was another opportunity for me to learn more about virtual machines and Linux Ubuntu. The course was originally taught using Mininet on Virtualbox VM, which at the time required x86 architecture. As someone completely engulfed in the Apple ecosystem, I took this class with an M1 Mac. I attempted to emulate x86 on my M1, which worked, but was terribly slow. I then decided to try Mininet's native installation using Linux, which worked perfectly!
